PARK James William Aged 99 years, on March 21st, peacefully in YDH, after a short illness with his son at his bedside. Loving and much loved husband of the late Gladys, loving partner of the late Muriel. Loving and dearly loved father of David, father-in-law of Susan, grandad of James and fiancee Hannah. Adoring great-grandad of Harry and Oliver. Affectionate and much loved brother of Mary, John and the late Stanley. Fondly remembered brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Retired Portasilo Ltd, founding Chairman Ouse Gliding Club Ltd (York Gliding Centre), past President of The Dickens Society, member of Haxby Players, Torremolinos and Dunnington Bowling Clubs, lately in the excellent care of Meadowbeck Care Home. Funeral at York Crematorium, April 15th at 11.40a.m. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if you please to Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Enquiries to JG Fielder & Son Funeral Directors.
