SIMPSON Frances Maria (Fran) On March 13th, 2015, after many illnesses, peacefully at York Hospital, aged 70 years. Much loved wife to John, loving mother and best friend to Paul, also beloved grandma to Aaron and sister to Pam and Heather. Funeral service to take place at St. Aelred's RC Church on Friday, March 27th, 2015 at 1.00pm, followed by private burial at York Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Friends of York Hospital. A plate will be provided at the service. All enquiries to J Rymer Funeral Directors. Tel: 01904 624320.

Difficult to write at this time. Mum was my best friend too. I will always cherish every minute we spent together and the memories will always live on. A wonderful kind hearted woman who over the years suffered incredible amounts of pain but always carried on. Will miss you so much mum, but I know that your free from pain now.
