YORK golf star Simon Dyson will be concentrating on splice rather than slice tomorrow.
Dyson is out of the line-up for the prestigious European Championship in Switzerland because he has more pressing duties to perform - he is best man at his brother Nick's wedding.
The elder Dyson sibling is getting hitched at Hazelwood Castle with the world number 128 putting his full focus on a twosome rather than anything to do with fore.
Dyson headed into his marital mission buoyed by a surge of seven places in the world rankings after he turned up the power in the final two rounds of the Italian Open.
The Malton & Norton Golf Club ace tied for seventh place at the Circolo Golf complex in Turin, which earned him a pay-cheque of more than 36,000 euros.
Dyson is also now standing in a healthy 32nd place in the rankings for the top 60 players to compete in the European Tour's Race To Dubai conclusion in November.
