IN-FORM Selby Town will be looking for their fourth win in five Northern Counties East League division one matches tonight.

The sixth-placed Robins travel to Eccleshill United (7.45pm) with the aim of keeping pace with the early leaders in the promotion race.

Manager Dave Ricardo is delighted with his side’s positive start, which has also seen them ease into the second round of the League Cup.

The Flaxley Road outfit’s only defeat of the season so far is a 3-1 reverse at Pontefract Collieries and Ricardo said: “It’s been pleasing.

“We got beaten by Pontefract but we got a response on Saturday with a 2-1 win against Rossington, which was a good result.”

Selby have signed former Goole central midfielder Andy Jackson, although winger Craig Muirhead could be out for the rest of the campaign with a dislocated knee cap.
