POCKLINGTON’S Martin Anderson starred as England secured second place at the World Deaf Golf Championships in America.
The Malton & Norton GC member shot rounds of 84, 83, 93 and 83 to finish tied 27th in the individual event on The Bear and The Wolverine courses at the Grand Traverse Resort in Michigan.
His score, along with those of his team-mates, saw England finish as the runners-up in the team competition - their combined score of 1,281 a total of 14 shots behind the host nation.
