YORK Lokos mark their 100th match when they entertain Scarborough Pirates 'A' at New Lane in Group two of the Yorkshire Men's League.
This milestone for the club is being celebrated with a club social event, but also sees the opening match for York Lokomotive Athletics.
This new team aims to provide fixtures for Lokos players who have not made the 17 man party for the relevant day's league fixture.
Club chiefs say the outfit is not an 'A' team, though, but is "fully inter grated with the club as one competitive squad".
Athletics first opponents are Selby Warriors, who have been competing through the summer in the Yorkshire Men's League Merit Competition, with the match kicking off at 1pm at New Lane, ahead of the Lokos' league encounter at 2.30pm.
