YORK Cricket Club stayed on the trail of the Royal London Club Championship crown with a thrilling eight-run victory at Chester-le-Street.
The Clifton Parkers totalled 210-7 in their 45 overs batting first in the North East, with Simon Lambert striking 68 and Alex Collins adding 62 not out.
The home side were then bowled out for 202 as York booked a home tie against Hetton Lyons in the next round.
