PAUL HANAGAN, who will be back in familiar territory riding at York this week, can maintain his excellent run of form at Doncaster this afternoon.

The former Malton champion has been firing in winners left, right and centre lately and even chalked up a five-timer at Warwick a week ago. He has three winning chances today, beginning with nap selection Muhaarar in the Betdaq Maiden Stakes on behalf of trainer Charlie Hills.

Although nothing is known about this unraced juvenile, he has the pedigree to do well being a son of Oasis Dream out of a useful mare. It would be no surprise to see him make a winning debut in which one of his main dangers might come from another debutante in Oud Malakiy, trained by Hanagan's former boss Richard Fahey.

In the Betdaq No Premium Charge Maiden Stakes, Hanagan will be aboard Ehtifaal, trained by William Haggas.

The colt had two outings last season at Newbury and Haydock and, despite failing to trouble the judge unduly, he showed definite promise for the future. He looks the type to come into his own this year.

Tanqeya is another of Hanagan's mounts with solid claims in the Cash Out on The Betdaq + App Handicap.

A winner for Richard Hannon at Lingfield last October, the colt promises to have more to offer this term. A similar comment can be made about Token Of Love, a winner at Leicester on her only outing last season, who has an identical profile as Taqeya and who will have Frankie Dettori in the saddle.

Dettori can win the Betdaq The Sports Betting Exchange Fillies' Handicap aboard Push Me for Borders trainer Iain Jardine.

It is doubtful whether Dettori has ever ridden previously for Jardine, a small trainer, but Push Me has solid claims judged on her latest narrow defeat at Yarmouth where she failed to get the run of the race.

Up at Musselburgh, North Yorkshire trainer Alan Swinbank, who sent out a sensational four winners at Thirsk on Saturday night, has every chance of striking again with Fly Solo in the Exclusive Free Bets At MonsterBet.co.uk Handicap.

Kieren Fallon takes the mount on Fly Solo, who failed by only half a length to beat Brigadoon at Catterick on his latest outing. The five-year-old can go one better for his red-hot trainer.

Interestingly, Fallon has also been booked to ride a previously unraced two-year-old for Kevin Ryan in the British Stallion Studs Auction Stakes. Dominic Cork is a son of first-season sire Zebedee and it would be foolish to underestimate his chances.

Westow trainer Paul Midgley has an excellent chance of winning the opening William Hill Handicap for amateur riders with Frosty Berry.

Midgley produced the mare to win at the first time of asking at Newcastle last month when Frosty Berry benefited from a superb waiting ride from Graham Lee. The inexperienced Alex French has a tough task to replicate that level of riding this afternoon, but Frosty Berry plainly has sound prospects.

Echo Of Lightning, a winner on this course over a mile two outings ago when making all the running, has since finished fourth over seven furlongs at the same East Lothian venue.

Back over a mile in the CMS Handicap, Echo Of Lightning may well be able to bounce back to winning form, especially if able to get rolling along in front soon after the start.
