Paul Farbrace in frame for England Test coaching role

Former Yorkshire second XI coach Paul Farbrace is set to sensationally quit Sri Lanka to be part of England's new coaching team, which will be announced today.

Lancashire coach Peter Moores will be named as the new head coach having been sacked from the same job in early 2009, while Farbrace impressed ECB bosses at interview earlier this week enough to be the new number two.

It would be a shock turn of events seen as Farbrace only left Yorkshire to take up a role as Sri Lanka's head coach at Christmas. He has since won the Asia Cup and the World Twenty20 with Sri Lanka.
