LABOUR leadership candidate Owen Smith will be speaking to party members in York on Sunday.
Danny Golding, a member of York Labour Party who is helping to organise the meeting, said it would take place at the Priory Street Centre at noon.
He said party members were asked to apply in advance by going to www.owen2016.com/owen_in_york, because of high demand.
The visit comes after crowds gathered in St Helen’s Square last month for the visit of Jeremy Corbyn as he fights to stay as leader.
