YORK police are appealing for information after a minor crash in the city.
A small silver car - around the size of a Fiesta - reversed out of a car park at the Woodman pub in Bishopthorpe and collided with a white VW Polo, but the driver left the scene without leaving any details.
It happened between 5.15-5.45pm on Monday, July 28.
PC Nicola Elliot said: “It may be that the driver of the silver car is unaware that a collision has taken place. If this is the case, I ask them to contact me so that I can take a statement from them.
“I would also ask anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward, as soon as possible, as they may have vital information which could help my enquiries.”
PC Elliot added: “I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who works in a vehicle repair shop, who may have been asked to repair the body work of a small silver car around the date of the collision.”
Contact York police on 101 and ask for Nicola Elliot, email nicola.elliot@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk, or call call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting reference 12140129474.
