TANG Hall hosted its very own “Tour” on Sunday, giving locals the chance to visit different community hubs around the area.
Lord Mayor of York Coun Ian Gillies dropped by to sample the fun, and tried his luck at some of the fairground attractions.
The Tour de Tang Hall day, was organised ahead of the Grand Depart’s visit to York.
Locals who visited all three hubs and collected wristbands from each venue were rewarded with a certificate, tour keyring, and a chance to win prizes.
The event was organised by Heworth and Hull Road ward teams along with the city council, Tang Hall Community Centre, Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, Tang Hall and Heworth Residents’ Association, York University Student Union, North Yorkshire Police and local schools.
