A HOSPICE is bringing back a fun and foamy inflatable fundraiser this summer.
York’s St Leonard’s Hospice, in Tadcaster Road, is encouraging friends, families and colleagues to enter teams in It’s a Knockout, a fundraiser inspired by the popular TV series. The event takes place on the Knavesmire on September 3, and sees teams compete in a series of fun and foamy games. There will also be rides, tombolas, games, inflatables, as well as a cake stall and a burger van for spectators to enjoy. Annie Keogh, hospice fundraiser, said: “This is a fantastic team event, ideal for businesses, families or groups of friends to enter.”
Teams of between eight and ten people, over the age of 16, can enter at stleonardshospice.org.uk or calling 01904-777777. A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place.
