EMERGENCY services have been called to a six-vehicle pile-up on the A64 this morning.
The crash, which happened at about 8.10am, partially blocked the eastbound carriageway near Tadcaster.
It involved a white Renault Clio, a white Vauxhall Vivaro, a bronze Renault Scenic, a silver VW Polo, a black Mercedes C180, and a silver Vauxhall Vectra.
Traffic was guided around the scene to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
The road was clear by 9.50am.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said no-one was injured in the collision.
