POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal car crash near Northallerton.
Yesterday, officers were called to the A172 near the junction for Ingleby Cross, when a a silver Ford C-Max was found off the road.
The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old man from Northallerton, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are now investigating the circumstances and want to hear from anyone who was travelling along the A172 between Stokesley and Ingelby Cross between 9.35pm on Saturday and 3am on Sunday, and saw a silver Ford C-Max.
