WELL-KNOWN children’s TV presenters Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes have been filming in York.
The CBBC presenters have this week filmed around several venues and locations in the city – including Clifford’s Tower and Poppleton Garden Centre – for the new series of the Big Friday Wind-Up.
While being filmed in York Museum Gardens they were seen taking it in turn to dress up as an American tourist and then chatting to one of their big fans, to see if they would recognise them.
Sam and Mark’s show features hidden-camera pranks, special guests and surprises.
The new series of Big Friday Wind-Up is due to be aired in January.
They filmed in several locations in the city, but the bit in the gardens was them taking it in turn to dress up as an American tourist.
