    Well done to everyone.

Unfortunately, quite a few will still end up working in shops and behind bars (where they shouldnt be).

Having failed to get one "O"level pass at "C" grade (for numerous reasons), I am full of awe at the achievements of these young men and women. However, I still managed to have a great career on the railway, earning a very good salary.

So to anyone who didnt get what they expected, its not over...............j
    ust work hard!

Congratulations to all those who got their results - just make sure you really give some thought to your next steps. University is a great choice for a lot of people, but there are other, solid options out there.

Every man and his dog seems to end up at university these days, with many studying some pretty sketchy subjects; purely because it's 'what everyone does' or 'what all their mates are doing'. With up to £9,000 tuition fees and about £4,000 in rent each year (x 3 years), that's £39,000 of debt you'll come out with + interest. That doesn't include 3 years' living costs either. The repayments will be coming out of your salary for pretty much the rest of your life and may affect you getting a loan or a mortgage in the future. Seriously guys, give it some thought!
