DETECTIVES investigating shoplifting and assault offences in York have released CCTV images of people they want to speak to.
North Yorkshire Police have just released these images of offences and is urging anyone who recognises the people to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
Image one relates to a shoplifting incident on April 13, at 10.45am at Spar Stores in Lowther Street, when a man took a shopping basket with food without paying. Image two relates to a shoplifting incident on April 13, at 3.45pm, at Sainsbury’s in Farndale Avenue.
Image three relates to a shoplifting incident on April 28, at 11am, at the Co-op in Beagle Ridge Drive.
Image four relates to a shoplifting incident on April 27, at 9.20am, at Tesco Express in Low Ousegate.
Image five: On May 30, at 1.45pm, police claim this man entered Pexton’s in Bishopthorpe Road and took two mortice locks off a peg, then presented them at the counter for a refund, claiming his mother had bought them two weeks earlier. The shop manager checked CCTV and the man left the store.
Image six shows a man wanted in connection with an assault in Revolution bar in Coney Street in which a 59-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries on February 13, at about 5.40pm.
