JOBS are being created by the opening of a convenience store and off-licence in Copmanthorpe, York.
The former Londis premises in Church Street has been snapped up by Mike Nicholls, 40, who already runs a similar business in Wain’s Grove, Dringhouses.
The original store was set up by his grandfather and later run by his parents, who have also retired.
The trade brand will be under Mace and Mr Nicholls is aiming to forge links with the community.
