A CYCLIST was injured in a collision with a car in York.
North Yorkshire Police have urged the driver of a green Citroen car which was driving in Layerthorpe at about 4.40pm on Thursday, May 29, in connection with the incident.
The cyclist fell as a result of the incident, and suffered minor cuts and bruises which did not require medical treatment.
PC Shannon Stanton, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you are the person who was driving the Citroen on Layerthorpe, it is possible that you are unaware that this collision took place and I urge you to contact me straight away. I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or can help to identify the driver and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
