CCTV images have been released after thieves stole five bottles of Champagne from a shop in Selby.

Two men were seen on camera removing the bottles from the alcohol fridge at the Co-Op in Flaxley Road at about 2.30pm on April 2, placed them inside their coats and left without paying.

The first man is described as white, about six feet tall, with a large stocky build. He was wearing a dark camouflage coat, blue jeans, brown boots, and a light camouflage baseball cap.

The second man is described as white, about five feet ten inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark wax jacket, blue jeans and a striped woolly hat with ear flaps and tie strings on each side.

Anyone who recognises the men or has information should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, email heidi.mcloughlin@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
