A19 north of Easingwold closed by accident
A SERIOUS crash closed the A19 north of Easingwold yesterday afternoon.
The collision, which was between a motorbike and another vehicle, happened at around 4.30pm.
The motorbike rider was taken to hospital by the air ambulance.
The road was closed for around two hours, which caused significant delays for motorists.
A diversion was made along the A59.
