Missing plane is ‘hidden away’ suggests former pilot

First published in News by

A FORMER Malaysian airlines pilot from York has spoken of his fears for the missing flight MH 370.

George Marray, who lives in South Bank, had a career in the air industry and has been following news of the plane’s disappearance in horror.

Mr Marray, who flew for the stricken airline in the late 1980s when they were testing Boeing 737 400 series planes, now says he believes the plane has landed and been hidden in a remote airfield.

“It has clearly been taken away by the flight crew.

“My worry is for whoever has got it now and what they are planning to do with it.”

The Malaysia Airlines plane has now been missing for more than a week with 12 crew and 227 passengers.

Authorities have revealed they believe the flight was manually diverted from its planned route, but investigators still do not know where to.

Mr Marray said he believes the aircraft has been subject to a carefully orchestrated plan to spirit it away, and has not come to any harm.

“I think they have a purpose for the plane. It is worth a couple of hundred million dollars, but nobody has offered any it back for any kind of ransom.

“It seems to have been carefully planned and the aircraft is now in a hangar in some remote destination.”

What a fatuous suggestion that this plane has been '...hidden away on some remote airfield.'
Firstly this airfield would require an 11,000' runway for takeoff and 6500 for landing. Without radar assistance for landing, that procedure would be very dangerous. The runway would also have to be as flat as a pancake, without any vegetation in the way of the wings and about 300' wide and be built strong enough to handle a heavy landing from a 500,000 - 600,000 lb airplane.
Secondly, 230+ people, assuming they are still alive, would require feeding, shelter and security control.
Thirdly, I should hope that authorities have checked every available landing site within range although this is hardly necessary because in the age of cell phones someone would have noticed a massive airliner appearing from nowhere. Originally, based upon the potential ( 12,000km) range a fully fueled Boeing 777-300 would be able to travel I had thought also that it may have reached the east Coast of Africa and, specifically, Somalia, but now that it has been announced that the plane only carried enough fuel for the flight to Beijing, this concept is eliminated.

I have come to the conclusion, based upon reports concerning the senior pilot Kahn that he engineered this event as a means of striking back at the Malaysian government for hounding and convicting (of sodomy), Opposition Leader, Anwar Ibrahim, a relative and political idol of Shah's and of dealing with his own personal problems ( his wife and children moved out of their house the day prior to takeoff of this aircraft.). Shah had attended the sentencing hearing for Ibrahim that same day. he had the means, the knowledge and the motive.

I think that if a loved one was missing on that plane then the last thing you would care about would be what some numpty said on the Press website - chill out Chissy and find something worthwhile to worry about! Its a bit like your house being burned to the ground but then someone trampled on your flowerbed..

Give me another film director who could do justice to the drama of the MH370 news story that is so gripping?

I suspect it has crashed into the sea alas.

Ignatius Lumpopos suggestion Diego Garcia is interesting as it is the scene of one of our countrys darkest ongoing human rights abuses. The Chagos people were kicked off the atoll islands by British forces, and the US were invited in. All this happened in the last 1960s and early 1970s. Dreadfully off subject I know but this abuse of court (our courts ordered they be allowed to return, but Blair, Brown and now Cameron are quite happy to disregard that ruling). The US government would not want this bringing back to the fore, so there is no way they'd fly this plane there. Even they are not that stupid!

Back on subject... the torture that the families are going through is unimaginable, stuck in limbo, not knowing, hoping against hope. My heart goes out to them all.
