SEARCHES are still being carried out for three men from North Yorkshire who have been missing for several days.

Simon Hodgson-Greaves, 48, from Riccall, has not been seen by his family since December 15, and his camper van was found at Bempton Cliffs near Bridlington on Saturday, December 21.

North Yorkshire Police, the coastguard, the RNLI, RAF Leconfield and volunteers from Scarborough and Ryedale Search & Rescue Team have been searching the cliffs and the shoreline by air, lifeboat and on foot.

Police are also concerned for the welfare of Greg Martyn Falconer, 32, who was last seen on Sunday, December 22, in York city centre.

He is white, 6ft 1in tall, with a medium build, short dark hair and stubble on his chin. When he was last seen Mr Falconer was wearing a blue sports sweater, dark trousers and black trainers with pink laces.

Ian Gibbon, 43, has not been seen since 10pm on Friday, when he left his home in Stainsacre, Whitby.

Officers have searched the Whitby area and located his vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Zafira, at the side of the road in Larpool Lane.

Police are continuing to search Whitby and Scarborough, and are also exploring the possibility he may have taken a taxi to Middlesbrough in the early hours of Saturday.

He is white, about 5ft 6in tall, with a medium build, short black hair, brown eyes and a pale complexion. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark green hooded top and brown Adidas trainers.

Police believe a taxi driver may have information which could help find Mr Gibbon, who has been missing since Friday.

The black Volkswagen Passat estate taxi, which had a Middlesbrough Football Club sticker in the rear window, is believed to have picked up a fare on New Bridge, Whitby, and headed to Scarborough or Middlesbrough, at about 5.30am on Saturday.
