East Coast has relaxed all ticket restrictions on the route between London, York and Edinburgh today to help passengers get home for Christmas.
The York-based train operator ran an amended timetable yesterday due to severe weather conditions and speed restrictions imposed by infrastructure partner Network Rail as a precautionary measure.
All ticket restrictions were lifted for two days yesterday morning, and customers with tickets booked to travel yesterday or today can take any East Coast train service today.
