POLICE have named the three people killed in a crash on a North Yorkshire road.
Konrad Bartczak, 18, was a front seat passenger in a Ford Focus driven by his mother Iwona Bartczak, 40, which crashed on the B1248 on Tuesday, November 26.
Rysard Orlowski, 47, was a rear seat passenger and was also killed in the crash, with a Citroen van on the brow of a hill between Wetwang and Norton. All three were from Hull.
A 30-year-old male passenger in the Focus who was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries remains in hospital and is recovering, and a 37-year-old male passenger who was seriously injured, has since been discharged from hospital.
The driver of the Citroen van, a 48-year-old man from Pickering who was taken to York Hospital, was discharged from hospital shortly after the collision.
An inquest into the deaths was opened and adjourned on Friday (DEC 20).
