Cyclist flown to hospital after East Riding crash

A CYCLIST was airlifted to hospital yesterday with head injuries after a crash at Holme-on-Spalding-Moor.
The cyclist, a 75-year-old man, was in a collision with a red Toyota Corolla at around 11.30am yesterday, Sunday, October 6.
Both the car and the cyclist were travelling along the A614 towards Market Weighton when police think the car tried to pass the cyclist but the two made contact and the cyclist fell off.
He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where his injuries are said to be not life threatening.
Now police are appealing for witnesses to come forward by contacting Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 293 of October 6.
